A Monitored Dosage System is a convenient and easy way to organise your medications. Instead of handling multiple boxes and blister packs every day, we’ll provide you with a specially designed tray that has compartments for each day of the week and time of day. This makes it clear what you need to take and when, so you don’t have to worry about missing a dose or taking the wrong medication at the wrong time.

The trays are easy to use, with clear labels and simple-to-open compartments, which is particularly helpful for patients who might struggle with traditional packaging. By organising everything for you, we take the guesswork out of managing your medicines and give you peace of mind.

We understand how important this service is to many of our patients, and for years we’ve worked hard to keep it free of charge. However, due to changes in the NHS funding model, we regret that we can no longer provide this service without a fee. That said, we want to assure you that we remain fully committed to delivering the highest standards of care. We’ve made significant investments in staff training, advanced robotics, and streamlined processes to ensure that the service remains available to those who need it most. These enhancements have not only improved the accuracy and efficiency of the service but have also significantly enhanced patient safety, giving you even more peace of mind when it comes to managing your medications.

We can provide the trays on a weekly or monthly basis, depending on your needs and what your prescriber recommends. This flexible approach ensures that your medications are always up-to-date and ready for you.

In addition to helping individual patients, we also provide this service to local residential and nursing homes. Our pharmacy team works closely with care homes to ensure safe and efficient medication management for residents, and we’re happy to offer advice on how to store and dispose of medicines safely.
